Training 365 now offer a full range of Leadership and Management courses which is delivered as high impact and relevant training to meet the demands of any organisation looking to further develop their workforce.
We can cater for anything from “Soft Skills” training for supervisors new to a role up to “Strategic Leadership” for senior managers within an organisation.
Where this training differs is that we take the time to fully understand the organisation to ensure all its objectives are met and deliver practical and relevant training with the focus being on an effective results.
Following detailed discussions and an in depth review of the organisations strategy and workforce, we believe that the following development activity will give the best opportunity for positive change at your organisation
Stage 1: Senior Team
Course 1: Strategic Leadership
Strategy influencers, overall Vision and Mission, translating strategy for our teams, objective setting and monitoring performance, creating a culture for performance.
Practical activities, group discussions and individual tasks relating to all topics using the organisation as a basis for all. Following the 2 day input sessions, all attendees will be asked to carry out a workplace project where they will engage with their teams and produce a detailed Strategic Plan for their area to a given brief. On the 3rd day they will need to present this to the rest of the group and there will be an opportunity for analysis, feedback and action planning.
Course 2: Managing and Leading People
Balancing Leadership and Management, Self assessment, Creating and maintaining effective teams, Motivation and Engagement, Powerful Communication, Difficult management conversations, Performance management in practice (in line with Acas guidance)
Project: Gather 360 degree feedback on the effectiveness of their management style
Course 3: Managing Quality & Efficiency
Time management and personal organisation, links to business planning and deadlines, workload allocation, people and processes. Productivity. Drucker & Taylorism, Lean and Kaizen, Right First Time and TQM. Responsibility and Accountability. Process Maps. Monitoring and Control. Opportunities and limitations.
Project: Review and proposal of quality and efficiency in their area of responsibility.
Stage 2: Middle Managers/Supervisors (A similar offering but delivered and referenced at a level more appropriate to their responsibilities and experience)
Course 1: Understanding the Bigger Picture – strategy, influences, setting objectives and monitoring performance, creating a positive team culture
Course 2: Leading an Effective Team – understanding people, types of leadership and management and their impact on performance, motivation, effective communication.
Course 3: Dealing with People Problems – Performance management, conflict, having difficult conversations, best practice.
Course 4: Ensuring Quality & Efficiency – looking at time management and personal organisation, workload allocation, people and processes. Lean and Kaizen, Right First Time and TQM. Responsibility and Accountability.
Stage 3: Staff Training. A range of training is available, dependant on individual need and position. Bigger Picture, Communication, Team Work, Motivation, Assertiveness, Presentation Skills, for example.
